The process typically takes several years. It involves filing the I-526 petition, obtaining conditional permanent residency, and then filing the I-829 petition to remove conditions. The overall timeline depends on factors such as processing times and visa availability.

Yes, an EB-5 investor may make an initial partial deposit and commit to funding the remainder over time. However, this carries substantial risk, as USCIS requires evidence of a credible plan to complete the full investment before I-526E approval. Failing to do so in a timely manner can lead to petition denial.
