Mervin Singson is a seasoned financial leader with over 20 years of experience driving growth and profitability in the real estate industry. As Chief Financial Officer at Mosaic Building Group Inc., a Series B tech-enabled general contractor in the Build-to-Rent (BTR) industry, Mervin played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation. Joining in 2021, he developed Mosaic’s financial model and led the successful closure of its Series B funding round. Under his financial stewardship, Mosaic grew from $25 million in revenue in 2021 to over $100 million in 2023 and achieved profitability in July 2024.  

Mervin also served as Chief Financial Officer at BB Living Management, where he was instrumental in closing a joint venture between BB Living, Toll Brothers, and TPG Capital, resulting in the creation of a $700 million BTR portfolio. Earlier in his career, Mervin was a key leader at Beazer Homes’ Northern California region, helping the company achieve 1,300 annual unit closings and $400 million in revenue, making it the largest builder in the market.

In September 2024, Mervin joined Zen Investing as Chief Financial Officer, where he now oversees all strategic financial operations, including financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls. A graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a licensed CPA, Mervin brings decades of expertise and a proven track record of success to his role, ensuring Zen Investing’s continued growth and financial excellence.
